The red army - Only 20.000

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby grayghost » Mon May 21, 2007 1:03 pm

On sky sports news today they claim that the reds will be bringing 20.000 fans to Athens.

Early estamations from sky are way off the mark they will be more than 20.000 in the stadium alone. How many fans do you think will be in Athens.

45 thousand reds or more will venture to Athens.

Put it this way, theres gonna be far more than 17,000 reds in the stadium and they will easily outnumber the milan support and roar us on to victory!
And as for the 11 on the pitch, bring it home lads! 6 times!

45,000 to 50,000 would be amazing.  Arsenal only took 25,000 to Paris.  Celtic took 70,000 to Seville which was rightly called an invasion.  Aint seen anything like that.

Italian fans have never travelled abroad in great numbers to support their club sides.

We've moaned about our ticketing fiasco but apparently Milan sold 10,000 of their tickets to travel agencies and corporates. They had a protest at the San Siro this weekend.

Buscerloni has bought 400 tickets to pass out to ultra heads to calm them down.
