Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I can't wait to see the welcome that Senor Benitez will receive from the Anfield faithful when he steps on the hallowed turf.

Anfield will be on fire for the first home game :D

I cannot wait 4 the first home game of the season, but i will b there at his very first game against Wrexham, 1st view of Cisse and Rafa, im sure they will get a nice reception
He comes from Spain and he doesn't speak good English,
But we don't care cos he'll turn us into winners,
The European Cup will be ours before he's finished,
Raaaaafaa Benitez!

What is it about that first home game that brings a rush of adreline, makes grown-up men wipe a tear and and pulsating excitement you can alomost reach out  and touch!

The performer steps out as the curtain is raised... and the waiting is over the crowd cheer, applaud, sing but at that moment in unison all are saluting Rafael Benitez.. :)

He can't loose, I just hope his family likes it as much.
Sunny Valencia to the Pool ?? We are the best fans, we know it and we will show it

Don Revie , the manager of Leeds FC said that when Leeds won the title at Anfield at their last game of the season, he was reluctant to bring the trophy onto the field.
To his great surprise and admiration, the KOP broke out into continuous applause
“Champions”
He has admitted he was emotionally moved by the class of our fans.
That’s our way!

I am excited just anticpating on the new style of play of the Liverpool team. We now have a manager who has actually won something substantial and is a respected coach (but then Houllier is also respected) and one who actually has the tactical acumen to implement playing styles that can beat clubs with more talented players and more resources than Valencia on a regular basis.

Bring on Benithez!

Like always with a new boss he will get a massive reception! Some of the footage and memories of how vocal we are gives me huge pride in supporting LFC.

How about cheese and biscuits, with trifle for afters?
A little table on the pitch before the game, with sausage rolls too and some sausages on sticks.

I wonder if they'll boo him off, after the first home game if we get beat to Man City?

the Kop should sing a new song for him. Heres the new anthem:

Benitez, Benitez You got Houllier the sack!
Now Rafael please bring some of the Paisley Magic Back!
Please kick out Biscan, Murphy and Hamann!
And do it very soon, as quickly as you can!
We've not won the league for 14 years, it is such a shame,
But we know you have a hard job, but Houllier is to blame!
1st place is the benchmark, and you better had suceed,
or else we'll slash your tyres, burn your house and make you bleed!

:D  :D

HEE HEE HEE HEEE HEE HEE!

I make myself laugh sometimes.  :D

I find that hard to believe.
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW SHINING AT THE END OF EVERY DAY.
