ballack is a great player but is not the type of player we need. he's not a creater who will unlock defences. he's more of a frank lampard type player. i also think he would cost too much. aimar would be ideal but it is extremely unlikely that we will get any valencia players with benitez currently in a dispute with them. put your money on xabi alonso signing.
