here here, its about time someone other than the alleged protagonists came out and said that

Now I feel like one of the politicians who has been quoted out of context  :(  I trust that people (and Particularly sabre) will know when they read my post, that I am not singling him out. The reason I mentioned his name alone was firstly as I know some people think he gets favouritism, and secondly, because  know he won't mind me saying it!

mick i dont think we disagree on the football side of things, i think we were the most vocal early in the season about the problems and the cause of the problems, on this one thing we have the same outlook, say it as it really it

I've absolutely no idea if I'm guilty of that or not Peewee as I must be honest I don't know what hyperopia is. I'm guessing it means kind of only seeing bad in one person and not the rest maybe?

If so not guilty as I think everyone who is getting involved in spats on this forum at the moment should stop. There are three or four main protagonists who know full well who they are, and I wish they'd just get over it and post about football. Since I know from experience that some people on here don't like having their name mentioned in any capacity whatsoever, I will name only one of them, Sabre. I think he should stop getting involved in spats, and I think he should spend more of his energy posting about football because I like reading his points of view on the game. Come to that I like reading everybodies points of view on football by and large.

I assume that's who you meant when you said I ignored snide remarks from one poster? I do think sometimes in moments of wistfulness that maybe I should spend more time posting about football myself, never mind sabre.

I agree.

It's obvious I've been stopping people from decent football discussions with my snide remarks, two faced cúnt behaviour, and obviously Spick biased opinions that only can come from a bandwagon supporter who will never quite understand LFC. Instead of having decent opinions about football I've been defending Alonso ala Liverpoolmadman with Cisse.

Once admitted my share of guilt in all this, hope it's not taken as a personal insult if I say "wake me up when there's a decent football discussion in this thread again".

P.S. Bigmick, needless to say, no problems with you.  :;):

ah well, and then he goes and proves my point   :D

thanks for that, keep em coming, every one a gem   :D

but i thought mick and i were having a decent football discussion or does decent football discussions have to involve 12 pages about the title of alonsos roll at the club.

so when you say you have no problem with mick, you just have one with his boring football discussion

:D

comedy genius sabre, i think i understand you know, all this time i thought you were an idiot but now i know you are the ken dodd of spain

to be fair to liverpoolmadman, he never posted essays.

He usually only ever wrote things like:

"Rafa should start cisse."

Which made it kind of made it hard to argue with.

Very true Babu.

I forgot to mention I've been spamming the forum giving my opinion in every thread. How could I dare.  :no

No it wasn't.

LFC has reached the final of the most coveted European competition which is something Real Madrid Barcelona Juventus and the big ones of Europe couldn't.

So if we talk about the league, I think it's reasonable to expect to have done better, but dissapointing when yout take into consideration the first paragraph, is IMHO, a bit harsh.

Anyway, this is what football discussions are about. You discuss 13 pages, only to recover the topic 1 week later, and everybody will be in the same position. Or almost. So sometimes it's a bit pointless to discuss! but it's fun I must say.

sabre, no offence but champs league final is great, but 21 points off top spot in premiership is a disspointment.

the premier league is what all liverpool fans want mroe than anything. and in the league we are dissapointing.

but thats the difference between a real liverpol fan and someone who gives them passing interest dawson, the real fans know the season was very dissapointing as we know whats the most important thing to us, even a champions league win next week will not disguise the fact that this season has been very poor

No offence taken.

But how come that the night LFC beat Chelsea we had a wind up merchant here coming from manchester insulting all the scousers and the club?

It seems to me he wasn't happy despite winning the league! and that's due to probably LFC spoiling the fun: nobody will talk about their league this days. All the world will look to Athens. And they won't like that!

21 points is a dissapointing difference, but what people will remember 3 years later is that we were third. The Spanish champion will be remembered for winning the league, nobody will remember in 5 years that they won it with 74 points or so, only. No body remembers that in 2001 Madrid won the league because of the goal average, or one point. It's just the title what counts.

Plus, as a poster (I think LFC2007) said, in the last stage of the league, once Rafa realised that he had no options on winning it, he didn't quite focus in the league. Being 21 points away, or 11 away is irrelevant, you haven't won it. That's why he didn't put strength in the last league line-ups.

the league challenge was over last october, i suppose thats your excuse for us finishing so far behind, we should have just played out under 18s every week in the league.
