I was living in Bradford at that time, town centre was full of fire engines, police, ambulances. We ran down Manchester Road into town to see what was going on and I remember seeing black smoke rising from behing some buildings in town. Some fella said it was Valley Parade that was burning, thats when the reality hit home, 3 of me mates we're going to that game.

Thank god they all came home.

I'm from Bradford and my Uncle was one of the heros his best mate died.
