I expect Benitez to go with a solid five in midfield but with the whole team given instruction to push Milan and knock them out of their stride. Along with Kewell I think Bellamy will be kept back as an option to change the game if needed.
Agreed. Normally I'd say a player who hasn't played all season should included in a major final but considering our options on the left wing a fit Harry Kewell can only be a positive.
I must say I still find it slightly embarrassing that people slag Kewell of for his withdrawal in the final. I mean if your groin goes and you can't move properly what can you do? some people make out like he made himself injured to get off the pitch. Ridiculous. Harry Kewell is case in point of an extremely unfortunate talented footballer who in recent years has become injury prone.
Most fans can't speak highly enough of him when he is on form, so I say include him in the squad and lets see what he can offer us on the day.
