gattuso's a nob jockey.

i'd love to see a 50/50 challenge between gattuso and gerrard, only one winner really. :)

I used to like Gattuso but after reading Gerrard's book it got me thinking about how much of a good player he actually is.

All Gerrard's points are valid but you don't play for AC Milan in 3 European Cup Finals, win a World Cup and be a so-so player.

Gerrard or Gattuso? There's only one winner for me.

But its getting spicy, and its great to see.

I just hope it doesnt get too spicy and Gerrard gets himself sent off proving a point. We need Gerrard more than Milan need Gattuso.

I'm sure they do want to make amends because I'm sure Istanbul hurt them. They have a chance for revenge now but me and the boys are going to be ready for that and we're looking forward to it. They have some quality players like Gattuso who work really hard for the team but we'll be ready for them on the night. I'm confident we can beat them.

Just read this on the offical website in a interview with Gerrard and makes me think he's still a tos.ser. Sure I love him and he's our best player but the difference between his autobiography and this interview is laughable. In one he slates Gattuso, in this he's licking his ar.se.

Let them get wound up and Gattuso mouth off. He is a cracking wee player but a little pr*ck at the same time. He was the same when at Rangers....I can't see Stevie G, Xabi, Momo and Mascherano (whoever plays) being intimidated by him like Carrick and Scholes were!

Let them get all emotional and het up about the game on the 23rd. Rafa will just sit back and set a masterplan to unpick the AC Milan lock on the night! :D

He is a fantastic player and although Kaka got most of the plaudits against united he is the main reason why they went through imo.
He works so hard for the team and gets the others going, he looked like he was on something the other night though, the last time i seen a player as animated as that it was Maradona at the USA world cup when he scored that goal...flipped out and was subsequently tested and banned.
Gattuso hasnt got the ability of others but when you have Seedorf Pirlo and Kaka around you, you dont need to be blessed with the fancy skills.
He is obviously just stirring things up and it doesnt bother me, it shows he is worried, by the way he was criticising us for playing one up front, how many do Milan play up top ?

For me, to be honest I'm really uncomfortable with this big mouth.
He seemed to be doing a good job shadowing and stopping ronaldo's movements and thus making the whole manure team look lost in attack 2 days ago.

If only Rafa will to mention him these few days, just about anything, then I will be more at ease knowing there will be a plan ... a plan to make him a joke in Athens.

Only with one striker? We've played two strikers up front throughout the knock-out stages. Get your facts straight.

Also, that's pretty rich coming from a team who only pass to Kaka. Talk about direct football.

Goalkeeper looks up... Where's Kaka?
Defender looks up... Where's Kaka?
Midfielder looks up... Where's Kaka?

Striker looks back... Where's Kaka?

On my limited viewing of both I think Machereno is twice the player Gattuso is.

I don't know, I don't buy it. Mascherano is an excellent player, I said he was class when he joined West Ham because I watched him in the world cup and he looked quality.

Gattuso is a "warrior" type of player! He is a massive asset to AC Milan, a midfield destroyer who holds the defence very well. We need to deal with him if we can break the milan's defence, and many people forgot that they have nesta, a brilliant defender, maybe the second best central defender in italy after cannavaro.

Gattuso is better and more experienced than Mascherano, but masch will gain experience (he is still young, only 22) and he will definately be a top class player.

It will interesting to see what he does if Gerrard plays on the right.  Will he try and track him out there, opening up space in the middle?

I think we're more than likely to see Gerrard on the right since Milan play so narrowly and since they count on their fullbacks to provide width.  Stevie will have plenty of space to operate from the right flank, with Mascherano in the middle to deal with Kaka and Alonso starting the attacks (he'll have the space to play his game).

Gattuso plays on the right, so I hardly think he will close on gerrard, unless Ancellotti plays him on the left.

He is a central midfielder but he plays well on the right, I still haven't seen him playing on the left though.
