Dude, the guys just saying he thought that Masherano deserved to be on team of the week more. every time stevie puts on a shirt he seems to get MOM. Masherano had a great game, deserves some plaudits and he had a great deal to do with our winning the semi final. As did pennant with his dealing of cole.

Id say Gerrard and Masherano played about as good as each other on tuesday myself, for the little its worth, and im glad to see the the latter getting some applause

I thought Gerrard had a fairly quiet game. Admittedly I didn't go to the game but from what I saw on TV, Mascherano after a shaky start had a great game. Gattusso was outstanding for Milan (again I didn't go to the match)

Mascherano was my MOTM, the only real ? I have is why so many think Pennant played well. He had an ordinary game by and large, a few decent runs at Cole with no end product but not that much outstanding. Gerrard was ok, no way did he have a better game than Mascherano

gerrard was fairly quiet so i dont expect him to appear there, but then again i didnt expect kuyt to make the cut:(
