Agree'd. A diamond centrally, with SG playing in the hole off the front two is the way to go. Though I'm not sure if the wide two would have enough licence to break forward enough to stay up the pitch with just Alonso for cover to protect his back 4.

Roman only wishes now that he bought LFC,Spurs or maybe a real club with REAL supporters!...im glad he chose Chelsea because it suits him and them!

We can all sit and watch the rich man with his mecano set and jesters smile with envy and wish he bought us 2 years ago...i dont!

If Finnan still out I would swap him for Hyypia and shuffle the back four around. This would also give us the option to switch to a 5-4-1 with Riise dropping back to counter a Chelsea assault like they did in the first half of the first leg.

Not nice to see but frankly I don't care what other teams are doing at this stage of the season. We should be more than ready for Chelsea on Tuesday - I know the fans are.

Arbeloa has been very poor lately, I don't want him anywhere near the team sheet. If Finnan is still out, I'd be tempted to play Carra at RB.

I'd like to start Hyypia too, but as Chelsea will largely be playing on the counter, I prefer Agger's pace. Hope he learnt something last week.

I'd be happy to see Zenden in instead of Gonzo, I thought he earnt another start after last week, but Gonzo probably offers a little more in attack.

Well, you mentioned Arbeloa not getting near the teamsheet. Zenden shouldn't even get near the bench.
