With the arrival of Djibril Cisse at Anfield, competition for the 2004-05 "LFC Most Outrageous Hairstyle of the Year Award" will be fierce. Here are the odds:

Djibril Cisse: 4-10 fav.

Anthony Le Tallec - Evens (and last year's winner - remember the corn rows??  )

Florent Sinama-Pongolle - 5-1

Harry Kewell - 8-1

Sami Hyypia - 10-1

Steven Gerrard - 25-1

Milan Baros/Jon Arne Riise - 50-1

Jamie Carragher - 100-1

Michael Owen - 1000-1

My money is on Djibril, altough I think Harry might be worth an each-way bet.

Any other contenders I've left out?


Oh yeah, Chris Kirkland to get a hair 'style' and not get injured whilst doing it:  40,000,000-1.

They're both bargains.  If Flo busts out that freaky afro again it's game over.  Or the weird pointy semi circle thing.

I hope Milan keeps the Chris Coleman look.  I think it has a Samson like effect on his game.

Speaking of hair, I'd love to know how Diouff managed his.  Obviously it wasn't a natural colour, but there's not enough hair to dye.  I always assumed he used spray paint and masking tape....

The worst last season was Tony Le Tallecs slicked back died blonde look, he looked like a dodgy car sales man or somethin........ NASTY 

I still think Sinama looks like Craig David, lol.
