Man utd v ac milan - Potential final opponents

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

Postby dward » Sun Apr 22, 2007 1:34 pm

Well Ferdinand is out of this one and they have other injuries in defence. They also have a couple of players on two yellow cards including Schloes and Ronaldo so if they lose Ronaldo and they need to score in the second leg, it'll be very difficult for them. If Milan don't score at least one I'll be very surprised.

Not going to predict the result as I think it'll be a close one.

FORZA MILAN! :buttrock

Lets not kid ourselves lads...Manchester UTD have been an absolute joy to watch all season...Ronaldo and Rooney are the best we can care to see apart from Messi!

To beat players like this we need to be on top of our game on Wednesday....Raffa will make some 'strange' changes to beat UTD!....no sh.it!...especially when we play Chelsea!

Disagree barry, I don't think Rooney has done anything outstanding. I agree Manure are good to watch but I'd hate for them to get to the final (unless we beat them in it).

Unfortunately, i think Manure will win the tie one way or another :(

I think Milan will do them to be honest. I think they will be too good defensivley. I can see them getting a decent result at OT tomorrow and then taking it back to the San Siro and just sitting it out. I hope so anyway because i don't think i could handle the build up if we got to them final against Man U. Hopefully it will be a complete re-run of 2005 although beating Man U in the final would probably go down as the best day in our history.

Milan is in good form recently. And it does give Milan some kind of advantage playing Man utd first away. The lesson of Rome could have taught them enough how to play at OT. Then when they come back to San Siro, I don't think they will give Man U any chance. :p

To be fair to the lad, Ronaldo has stolen his limelight this season. Most strikers would take 20 goals and around 10 assists.

He's only 21.

Anyways as for the match we need to keep a clean sheet and maybe try and score three goals. I can't see us getting too many opportunities in Milan to win the game.
