Hi.. heading to Liverpool to watch saturdays game and hoping to check out some nightclubs.. any good clean clubs you guys would recommend? I like a bita of funky, house, electro that kinda stuff. Not really into the cheesey matthew street scene!

I was working in Liverpool many years ago and the only place i ended up for a drink was a place called the Paradox, i think.

We used to go there about 20 of us on minibus's from ours.

Used to love the smaller cheesy music room, and the birds in there, f'ckin brilliant.

Go to passion formally known as the 'funky box'. You can't beat it for electro house. Just off dale street. If you want some Scouse house (basically hard house with more melody and harder bass) go to the fudge near the Krazy house on wood street. You want 80p a bottle of stella check out the ONE4 on the opposite road. It has pool tables,a dance floor and plays all the club classics especially on a sat night. Hope this helps!
