To play devil's advocate for a second, I did look to me like Cech did do poorly for the goal. A nice run and strike from Tevez, to be sure, but Cech, I think, saves that 19 times out of 20.

Also, the last few times I've heard Gray comment on our games he's seemed to be a bit more balanced. He's p!ssed me off massively in the past but I've not heard too much to grumble about of late.

This is no shit,

there is a thread on bluekipper talking about new strikers next season and Tevez's name is in there. Now you would expect comments like 'he wouldn't come here' or 'if we got Tevez it would be a major coup for EFC'

instead you get comments like this;

'why would we want Tevez, AJ & Co are better' or 'Tevez is crap'

oh they make me laugh.

He is a total dick he bums united and chelsea the other week when United were playing he had the cheek to say that Paul Scholses is one of the best tacklers the Prem has ever seen he is a dick and SKY should sack him.

Agree with Badbob onb this one, Cech did make a mistake and should of saved it.
It was a decent strike but not that close to the corner, Cech got both hands on it and pushed it in.
Gray may be biased at times but not with that comment.

I like Merson though, makes me laugh. His honest to me and has no problem speaking what he thinks. I have heard him slate Arsenal before just as his slated other sides.

IF Gray told me Stevie G was the greatest playing in the world I would'nt believe him.

He was a second rate striker for numerous clubs now he's a third rate pundit.

Its not only andy gray on sky but its also ITV and BBC (Liverpool matches always last or near the end on Match of the Day) Theres just something about Liverpool that they dont like, maybe its because when it comes down to it we really are simply the best. David Pleats comment on Liverpool not having a hard game against PSV even though we just knocked out the mighty Barcelona. They all make me laugh, this really is down to who makes the channels the most money, and Liverpool are not helping there cause because they upset the odds every time, which makes them look like idiots.

get real people. Andy gray for all his bluenose co.ck sucking is a good commentator. He always talks with great special praise for gerrard, carra etc. Reckons that our crowd is unique. which it is? he does go on a bit but i love to hear is you beauty chant. I love that sky hd advert.

By the way cech did make a howler and swp was fantastic the other night. we'll still do them though.

ok, so maybe Cech made a hash of the save, but why take away the fact that Tevez made that goal by himself and took the shot from outside the area and STILL beat the best goal keeper in the world (Alledgedly)(spelling), hes a twát he never once praised teves goal.
