he isnt perfect ofcourse not nobody is but to jump on his back after a few off performances is a joke, the lad is 22 and always gives 100percent for the shirt, plus he has had two very bad injuries to deal with
he may well be fourth choice centre mid now but in our team that isnt a bad thing, and all the comparisons with viera were not of his own doing so he cant be blamed for that
i would hate to see him leave because he is a great asset to the team and has a great attitude and still has time to improve

Seriously, lad, you are like a broken record. We are not going to be selling any of our central midfielders to Barca in exchange for Eto'o. Not Alonso. Not Sissoko. It just won't happen. Rafa rates these players highly and will not be looking to get rid of either of them. Conversely, these lads are quite happy at Liverpool and are not looking to move on. If Eto'o is to come here, it will be a straight transfer not through a swap deal.

Give the lad a break and lets see what happens, rather than jumping on his back after a few dodgy games. Most young players have setbacks in their career, usually after about 12 months or so , Sissoko is no different. He gives his all every game and deserves some respect for that at least. He was collecting MOM awards earlier this season and suddenly hes surplus to requirements?
If as Badbob has said the team has moved on and we no longer require a battling destroyer type of player, thats fair enough but don't judge him prematurely. Personally I feel that he is being played now in a position that is unsuitable for his "limited" abilities, but who's fault is that? Having Gerrard playing as second striker or in the hole or whatever cr@p you want to call it is never going to suit Sissoko, as Gerrard wants and needs that space for himself when playing that role (which in itself is not Gerrards forte). I agree he is probably now our 4 choice, but I still think he is a worthy 4th choice.
