Twin Peaks seasno two has recently come out to buy in America (properly, not piracy) so i thought id start up a thread about it, the reason?

Well, ive just watched season one, and its really not as confusing as it used to be. Nowadays with programmes like Lost and Heroes tv is a lot more complex than it used to be. Twin Peaks now just looks stunning. It is brilliantly written, excellantly acted, and it knocks other series that are on now on there a$$es.

I never noticed when it first came on how clever it was, i just thought it was weird. Now i notice the log lady making sense and the one armed man having a point. Maybe its all the drugs i did at university but now i can relate to Agent cooper, Bobby, even james.

Ive also realised that its thanks to Sherilyn Fenn that i have this thing about brunettes. so for people who never caught it the first time, u really should check out twin peaks...

for those who did see it, watch it again, and you will see just how clever the show really is:

Dale Cooper: Damn fine coffee!
[Cooper takes a sip then spits it on the floor]
Dale Cooper: [smiling] And hot!

I didn't watch Twin Peaks back then. But I remember it was quite a hit around here. Is that true Dawson that the show had some possible different finals to the show? or was that a myth?

Yeah, well with David Lynch you never know. the ending that happened could have led to more, and there were other ideas for how to end it. A lot happened in Twin Peaks that was odd. the main bad guy 'bob' was a lighting engineer on set who lynch thought looked spooky. There were errors during filming that were left in and actually added to the plot

what about 'bob?'
Frank Silva was a set decorator who worked on the pilot episode. One day, when he was moving furniture in Laura Palmer's bedroom, a woman remarked to Silva not to get locked in the (Laura Palmer's) room. The image of Silva trapped in the room sparked something in Lynch who then asked Silva if he was an actor. Silva replied "yes" and Lynch told him that he had a part in the film. Silva accepted and Lynch shot footage of him behind Laura's bed with no real idea of what he would do with it.

When Lynch shot the scene of Sarah Palmer's frightening vision, Silva's reflection was accidentally caught in the footage. Silva can be seen in the mirror behind Sarah Palmer's head. Lynch was made aware of this accident but decided to keep Silva in the scene.
