It's the result that matters and it's just a shame Rafa didn't quite get his starting XI right. Had he started with Robbie up front then Bellamy wouldn't have been injured. I was disappointed with their lack of ambition, it didn't make for a good match.
Crouch continues his scoring form, I just hope it isn't enough to get him a new contract and then hecarries on scoring infrequently for Liverpool. Fowler showed enough for me to say he should stay, I'm sure he'd take a rolling one year contract and be happy to play a lesser but still active role at the club. For all the talk of him not being as quick or mobile as he was, Crouch is hardly lightning fast and it's what he does with the ball that matters.
And how many top quality strikers would happily play the role Fowler currently is at the club?
