Are you mad?

Nugent is a die-hard Everton fan! He will never ever play for Liverpool considering he was released from their academy as a teen. This guy used to wear his Everton T-shirt underneath his Liverpool training top.

Nugent rang into radio city (think it was after the arsenal game) and made it clear he wants to play for everton as soon as he can. As good as he may be, do we really want a player that loves our rivals?

the liverpool players in the past (and present) that were everton fans have tended to come through our youth system so have loyalty to us that way.

What on earth are you talking about??

Im talking about David Nugent, not Jamie C or Robbie Fowler! The fact you added Nugent as one of the possible summer signings isnt going to happen - Have you even bothered to open a newspaper or magazine article on David Nugent and his desire to play for Everton?? Not your best post - grayghost.

Liverpool are lining up £3million summer swoop for Ajax defender Gabri.

The 27-year-old - capped twice by Spain - admitted he would be interested in a move and said his compatriot and Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez had already been in touch to check on his availability.

Gabri started his career with Barcelona and can play at right-back or in central midfield, which appeals to Benitez, who has money to spend after American tycoon George Gillett's takeover at Anfield.

Gabri is also a close friend of Liverpool keeper Jose Reina and midfielder Luis Garcia, which could prove decisive in luring him away from Ajax.

Gabri said: "I'd like Ajax to study the option if it finally arrives from Liverpool.

I'm very happy in Amsterdam but a club like Liverpool is attractive for any player. A Spanish coach and some Spanish players would also be an influence."
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

With the money we have, I would say lets not buy gabri and lets go on buying a more quality player.

Gabri is a good right back, he isn't a good center back, but a good defencive right back, but we arbeloe so I don't think we really need him.

I've read various storiesd over recent weeks about a get-out clause in Damien Duff's contract with Newcastle. At one point, I thought he might be a good addition to the squad, but the past year put paid to that. Aaron Lennon ? Defoe ?....They're not gonna achieve anything with Spurs, so who knows ?

I fear Duff's best days have passed him by. He is VERY injury prone so I would steer well clear of him if I was Rafa. Aaron Lennon would be a great addition bu he'll cost a bloody fortune.....if Spurs were to even put a price on his head that is. I can't see that happening.

Another RB is a strange one. Finnan is excellent and has a few years and we have a more than capable Arbeloa to come in when Finnan is out.

Good shout. I would like to see Alves arrive in the summer and also Tevez. I think Belamy will go so Tevez would more than fill the void he would leave. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sami go as well (maybe return home for a swansong) so we'll need a new quality centre half! M'boro have apparently agreed an £8m price for Jonathan Woodgate.....he would be a very good addition to the squad having proven himself to be relatively injury free for a sustained period of time.

I have been saying we should bye Tevez for ages now and everyone seems to be coming arond to the idea he is class at a small club get him now while we are on good tearms with the company that owns him because of the masherino deal.
