Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Well Red » Sat Apr 07, 2007 4:51 pm

mate, I'm not trying to start a flame war - I just think the comment was laughable considering Rafa's arguably the best manager we've had since Paisley tacitcal-wise :)

I've posted my fair share of decent posts. Listen, we're both Pool fans and share a common interest - I just think it;s ridiculous some fans can be throwing wreaths at Rafa's feet after an amazing European performance in midweek and then calling for his head just a few days later when he's brought on a sub who's now winnning us the game :)

I'm not discussing this at length here and now. If you want to discuss it at length start a thread or read the one I'll start later on tonight.

I'm absoloutely enfuriated by a season that should have ended with number 19 and instead has left me feeling empty and baffled at the numorous woefull performances, decisions by the manager and signings.

He's been average in the transfer market at best and I think we've taken at least two giant steps backwards this season, Losing Kewell wasn't Rafa's fault but other factors, such as playing the right players at times could have been.

FT good three points after a not so convincing performance. hopefully pennant has done enough to earn a few more starts on the right, great performance considering the amount of time he was given. west ham still beating arsenal too, great step forward to that 3rd place spot

Scrappy game one that the BIG teams win, 3 points secured when nowhere near at our best and Rafa now gets TWO more seasons :;): .Funny old game this football lark isnt it ?
