you dont want a major change. It would take time for players to gel. For me
Out: Zenden(redundant), Dudek(redundant), Pongolle(i like him but not in the boss's book), Kewell (too injury prone and already lost his pace)
In: 1.robben pls(heard he would be cheap at the end of the season due to the new Fifa employment rule. He would add so much into our play). 2.A world class striker.

Zenden-obviously because ... well it's just obvious and I personally wouldn't have signed him in the first place; obviously.
Harry Kewell-in the unlikely event of anybody offering any money for him we'd take it simply because of his injury record and as he has only a year left on his inflated contract. If they don't, expect him to leave by Christmas at the latest. Bolton is my prediction.
Peter Crouch-I'd keep him personally but I expect somebody to tempt Rafa with a big offer in the Summer, over 10 million. If they go towards 11.5 then I think Rafa will take the money and run for a player he ultimately doesn't really fancy in his heart of hearts. My prediction is Newcastle, or Everton.
Robbie Fowler and Dudek-it's a given as neither play and are on biggish contracts, forget the ish in the case of Dudek.

And the big surprise? I've got a hunch that Luis Garcia will go back to Spain for a decent fee. Forgive me as I haven't been keeping up with things recently so if he's just signed a new contract it doesn't necessarily mean I'm clueless, just probably. I've just a hunch he may go home, Deportivo is my guess.

Pennant, Bellamy and Gonzales will be given one more season. My own feeling is that out of the three only the middle one will ultimately make it at Liverpool. Gonzales is in my opinion simply not good enough and Pennant simply has too many issues going on inside his head to ever realise fully his undoubted potential. For this reason my suspicion is that neither will prosper.
Kuyt on the other hand will prove what a really good player that he is, and when he comes back Aurelio will continue to demonstrate what a good signing he was. As for the new signings, feck knows :p

Hahaha, I wish all the stabs were like that.

I think it's fair criticism, stating a few names is pointing out the obvious.

Luis Garcia? hmmmm maybe, but he's been too versatile for Rafa this years, and I see him only leaving if he REALLY wants to go scenario or a reason like that. I think Rafa appreciates him a lot. His name is always put in doubt every summer, but he ends up playing.

If I have to give  major names... Sissoko and Hyypia.

THe former because despite I like him he can be easily replaced IMO, and the latter because his cycle in LFC might be coming to an end, unfortunately.

If we sign Robben, then can someone please shave his head?

He's only 23 and already has Alan Shearer's hair.

I've been starting to loose my patience with Kewell. Even though he has been plagued with injuries, I've stuck by him and defended him on this forum but this is the final straw, If he doesn't make an impact or prehaps gets injured again after a long time out, we could see him being shipped out.

I read somewhere that Spurs want to offer him a pay as you play deal. Would we want to look into that?

Thats the first post I've seen you write without swearing. :D

I agree on Kewell. As good as he was last season, this season has again proven he can't be relied upon. Its not even like you can get 25 league games regularly. In which case he'd be worth the hassle.

More importantly, would he go for it?

Pay as you play? He'd only earn about a grand a season

I'd like to see Gonzalez and Kewell given more time. Kewell has had unforutunate injuries and the same with Gonzalez.

Agree with most part your thread pal. Eto'o is an obvious choice...as for Woodgate :wwww  :rasp  :D

If all you can do lad is make stupid comments and not contribute to the forum in any positive manner then I suggest you fuck off an post elsewhere. Alot of people come on here to discuss and debate, after all thats what the forum's for. If you want a "chat" go on msn or yahoo.

You're posts so far have served no purpose, you've not shown any ability to debate or put forward an opinion and your "knowledge" or lack of is an embarressment.

End of. :no

Ouch...scathing:D

will people please stop suggesting robben - its ludicrous.

1.moureen wouldn't sell to us
2. he's injury prone and barely played any useful part of this season
3. he's a cheating, diving, arrogant little sh*t

i think bellamy will leave in the summer. with voronin in to replace fowler, and everyone talking about the need for a "top class" striker, we would hypothetically have 5 strikers next season. So that would mean 1 of crouch, kuyt and bellamy would likely leave. personally i think rafa rates crouch and kuyt highly, so it will probably be bellamy.
in the summer i think rafa will sign these players:
centre half
attacking right back [alves as he can also play right wing??]
left winger
centre forward
[ as well as voronin, obviously]
to replace...
hyypia
zenden
kewell
bellamy
fowler ( :( ) ...
who will leave

One time, I saw a man looking at me, yes, with his eyes. And then, he, he picked up a tube. And he looked, in the tube, and he made the moon big, inside the tube. The moon big inside a tube! Waahaha... Aaah. Telescope.

I used Robben as an example. Get with the programme.
