it pains me to say it, but Dirk Kuyt for all his endeavour and hard work (of which there are few equal and therefore you'd expect them vital to hang on to) I cant see him being the 'right' fit in a title winning Liverpool side. Sorry, i love the guy's spirit, willing and attitude (which IS exemplary btw) But unfortunately, either through wasteful usage of his talent or simply an as yet immaturely developed game...He isnt delivering goals which is what he was brought in to do. Play him differently or move on.
Some will call for Crouch's replacement. I disagree. The fella is a useful weapon to hang onto. And is proving that (almost every game) However, the advantageous deployment of Pennant AND Crouch on the park at the same time, is something we see little of. In light of that...
Pennant, what can you say? The most lackadaisical figure to appear in a Red shirt for a while. Yet, one of the most talented (when applied) Frustrating. And currently a weak link. Which is a shame...because he has it in him, in fits and starts, of late he has improved -granted. If he's happy being cover. Great.
others...
well it wont be too long until Sami/Robbie and Finnan come to the end of their respective shelf-lives.. Hyypia is good for one more season i believe, as is the criminally underrated Fowler. Finnan, good for another couple. But far more penetration is urged from his position. Id go for his replacement Now and use steve as cover. Richards, Alves. Even Chimbonda? fit the bill.
There you go. Rip me to bits

Not only do I completely disagree with Riise going, but you're now saying this after hearing Fabio Aurelio has ruptured his achillies tendon? You do know he'll be lucky to play again before Christmas? It will probably be February before he's ready for the first team.
I tell you what though, lets go into the new season without a left back... why not?![]()
You then Mention Wright-Phillips, Lennon and Klose? Three words... Don't be silly.
Wright-Phillips is awful, Lennon isn't much better and is completely over hyped and Klose is over the hill and has a touch like Traore although isn't that bad a player.
Consider yourself ripped.

I'd actually agree with most of what you've said Red. Apart from Riise, but if you did sell him you can always buy another in the summer. What are you going on about Stu ?
The reason Stu says no to Lennon and SWP is because he is still hoping and IMO hell will freeze over before this happens. That Pennant proves himself to be the player HE hyped up, both Lennon and SWP pi$$ all over Pennant as a player.
As for Klose he is definately the kind of striker we need at the club !
Stop arguing for arguements sake or I'll bitch slap you an set Anne Bancroft on you.
