I expect us to get through that group at the expense of Linfield, christ i hope so after the mouthing thay are doing on ILF. I hope the Glens do us a favour and beat the blues, i'm sure "Windy" will want that, he's obsessed with beating them. Also i'm expecting a comfortable win on Monday night. I'll probs regret saying that :(

I think David Jeffery is one of the best managers in the IL. He knows what he wants and goes for it unlike that plank we have. If Paul Millar put in as much effort into being the manger of Glentoran as he does hating Linfield and mouthing of at our fans, he would be a good manager too. But as things stand at the moment most Glens fans want him out. And if you have been reading the ILF you would probably know that. I have watched the Glens go from being 5 points clear at Christmas to being 4th, going back up to 2nd in the table. And now they are just scraping wins. And I suppose being 2nd now is better than being 4th. Well just about:D

We have on ok record of beating the Blues at home. But the way we are playing, I would'nt hold out much hope. The blues are not gonna let this one go. It would be nice to us put a spanner in the works, but I really dont see it happening.
But good luck on Monday night. It should be a good night and hopefully there will be goals from both sides!!

Ditto. But on David Jeffrey, i have no time for at all or many Linfield fans. Not because of political view, but because they think they are "it". As for David Jeffrey, every time he does an interview its "i'm so proud of my players" plus the fact that he said that a clear pen for us at Windsor was never. What a plank. Any respect i had for him or Linfield is totally gone. As for Paul Millar, for him to ring up Paul Curran thanking him says it all about him.....no class

I have no time for Linfield or their fans. As you said, they think they are something. But just look at them this season. They have not won anything yet and i think this is why the SC is so important to them. Fair enough they won against Ballymena yesterday so they could still do the double. But winning the SC brings bigger dividends so that means more money going into the team. I'm hoping that The Whites beat them in the next round of the Irish cup. That would wipe a few smiles of their faces

As for Windy phoning to say thanks, says it all really. Its not the sort of thing a premership manager should do. Hes not a football manger and never will be. I hope the Glentoran board see him for what he is and get rid at the end of the season.

You'd think they won the competition the way they celebrated after getting a draw against us. I'd love to see the Glens snatch the league, whats the chances of them doing it when the blues coem to town, Chris Morgan???  :;):

Ahhh, Morgan Day!!! Thats one that will go down in the Glens history books. I dont think Chris is gonna that for us this year. Hes had very few starts for us this season and when he has been on, hes been an average player. I think we are counting more on Gary Hamilton!! We still have to play DCFC and Linfield in the SC, then we have 5 games to play in the CPL. One is not to bad, but the last 4 are gona be the killers. We have Crusaders @ home, then Linfield (home), then Cliftonville and Portadown away.

Good luck to Athlone in getting into the Premership!!!!
