The first clip i saw of what the ps3 can do was off Final Fantasy 7 and I was impressed. A couple of days later I bought Dirge of Cerberus for the ps2 and realised that what they showed for the ps3 can easily be done for the ps2. Ive watched a couple of other clips for the ps3 and to be honest, im not really impressed. Graphics may be slightly better but at this moment in time I aint splashing out on the ps3 just yet.

In two years time or so the PS3 will likely push ahead as it has a better processor than the 360. The Cell processor is apparently difficult to programme for and it may take a number of years for developers to get the hang of it. At the moment there is not much to recommend the PS3 and really Sony made a balls of its design. Its a powerful machine but not nearly as powerful as all the hype would have you believe and it contains a number of serious design flaws (for example, Sony made a mess in having separate graphics and system memory as opposed to Microsoft's unified memory structure: i.e. the 360 can access all of its 512mb of ram for whatever process it needs it for whereas the PS3 has rigid 256mb for system processes and 256 mb for graphics. This means that the PS3 will not be able to store as many textures in ram as the 360 and will have to read the textures directly from the Blu Ray disc, which is slow. A massive blunder).
