This shows how many beers plus a 360 you can buy for the price of a PS3.

Would rather the one bottle of Becks than all that Fosters, tastes like p!ss.

I have to say though, I've got a couple of mates who now have both a PS3 & an X-Box360, and they say the PS3 IS worth the extra. It is new though, so I'll ask them again in a months time.

im happy with me 360 ta very much. Besides, we are getting half of them sony 'exclusives' on xbox soon anyway. The graphics on 360 are good enough, the catalogue is maturing well, xbox live is largely enjoyable, XBLA is a welcome addition (MUSIC IS STREAM-ABLE) and the only issue i personally have is with the storage - 20gb is pitiful. (though not terminal)

PS3 may well kick a$$ to a lot of folks. Me, i couldnt care less about jaw-dropping visuals and blu-ar5e or whatever it is called. I want games which play hot!! shed loads of em. And the xbox360 is very well endowed on that score. Who knows, 18 months -2 Years away i might get a ps3 when they come under 200 quid. Til then

It remains to be seen whether the PS3 has better graphics than the 360: the jury is still very much out on that one.

At the moment there is little to recommend the PS3 over the 360 as the 360 has a far better catalogue of games and while the PS3 has a Blu Ray player, Blu Ray discs are not common and are expensive. The PS3 will probably overtale the 360 eventually, but its still too expensive and needs more quality titles before its worth getting.

Me and most of me mates have got a 360 now and you can't beat the online play (i've only just got mine and will be online come the end of the month). Fight Night 3 is absolutely awesome and you can't beat a bit Pro-Evo 6 in an online league. Xbox arcade is wicked as well, have been playing a bit of worms with me mates just like the old days.

PS3 will probably be amazing but what's the point at £430!!! You've got to be a mug to shell out that sort of money, they're pulling everyones pants down. As for blue-ray it won't be much different to HD and i hear xbox are bringing out (if they haven't already?) an HD DVD player for around a £100 in the very near future.

I don't know how people can say that they own both a 360 and a PS3 and say that the PS3 is better or "worth the extra money", I really don't. The PS3 has only released since last Friday (in Europe) and it has no star games to speak of. I don't know how somebody can say that the PS3 is better when all it has at the moment is Motorstorm and Resistance, neither of which can hold a candle to the likes of Gears of War. I think people who are saying that are trying to justify spending big bucks on a console that has no games of note out for it yet.

The PS3 may yet surpass the 360 but for the time being the 360 is the way to go: if I had a choice between Gears of War and Resistance I know which one I'd be playing.

I'll pick up the PS3 in about a year's time, when it has come down a bit in price and has some decent games, not before then.

ps3 can't even play old ps2 games xbox online is far superiour and is only growing beter with new features being worked on blue ray will fail and HD will be the future of entertanment The only thing Ps3 have over Xbox is it has Metal Gear. Proberly still get one though. :laugh:

Devil May Cry 4 will no longer be a PS3 exclusive, word on the net is Sony are proper miffed about it too, so that means that the only exclusive games to the PS3 are MGS, Tekken and Gran Turismo (looks w3nk compared to Forza 2).

Mr Gates must be laughing his geeky nuts off :cool:
