liverpool  and juventus offered £7.5 which was accepted by sporting lisbon during the toulon tournament in france  ronaldo was starring in,the scummies came in and offered £12.5 ,and that's why he went there, during the tournament ronaldo was in the uk press saying it would be  been a dream to play for liverpool alongside michael owen, he is one who got away i guess. :veryangry

I wouldn't want the arrogant :censored: even if they was giving him away ...and I mean that !

El Hadj's refusal to give way to Robbie was typical of the man and I'm just glad it's not our club he's shaming these days.

Back to the "friendly" in question I just thought it epitomised all that is so shallow and superficial about the Mancs. They booed the Liverpool scouse players because they can't put aside their obsession us away even for 90 minutes of a charity match.

Someone made the point that when England played at Anfield a few years ago the crowd booed Neville. What they didn't say that there were TWO other Man U players on the pitch that day in Ferdinand and Beckham (possibly three but I'm not sure if Scholes played) and none of them were booed. Allow me to explain why........

Nevile is a self proclaimed Scouse hater and has used his wannabee Newspaper column to state that fact on several occasions even resorting to defending himself when charged by the FA a couple of seasons ago for inciting the crowd, a charge which he was found guilty of by the way. Its irresponsible and unprofessional but typical of the man. He grew up in a team full of what were to become football Icons (Giggs, Beckham , Scholes etc....) but never quite got the same publicity and was often in their shadow.

He was at the recent Man Spew Christmas party and leading the singing of "build a bonfire ........." whilst all the time missing the point that his club of which he is the captain have shelled out £25 Million on a Scouser to revive their fortunes. The irony seems somehow lost on the Mancs, fans and players alike that their nemisis has become their lifeline  ............

My previous post disappeared, so here I go again, don't you see the irony in post after post of our so-called obsession with Liverpool?

I was responding to a post re the friendly game the other night, YOUR responding to my comments about your beloved Man U so whose got the obsession ?  :D

At least I take the time to explain my opinions.

Our clubs have a fierce rivalry which I don't have a problem with but what I do have a problem with is when your club puts on a friendly, asks Liverpool players to turn out for the opposing side (no doubt to boost the local support) and then they get booed each time they touch the ball.

When it happened at Anfield I was making the point that it was for a very different reason that Nevile got booed and you know it, I know it so lets lose the semeantics and tell it like it is .........

mancs are more bitter than evertonians mate, thats a sad fact.

obviously their hatred of us shows that they either fear us or are jealous that even after dominating the game for the last 17 years they are still behind us in the trophy count

To be fair, Gerrard et al surely expected booing, also, the booing was not in an 'aggressive' manner, it seemed like the crowd were just doing it for a life.

I know more Evertonians than Mancs.

Don't know if I agree 100% with that to be honest.

You missed this lad I met last Friday.  I'll call him Nick.  Not his real name.

Was out with my mates and they brought along some lads from their offices.  One of them was a Bitter Bastard called Nick and got more and more pissed as the night went on.  We were all having a few drinks though.

Anyway, I'd brought my brother along for a few bevvies and he met my mates and their office mates, Nick being one of them.  As my brother would automatically think I knew ALL the lads being a newcomer to the group, he was on his best behaviour and was just getting along with everyone, as you do.

Anyway, later on when this Bitter Nick was really giving me hell about being a Liverpool fan, and I mean he was embarassingly bitter, I had to stop him and ask him to calm down and I kind of said these words "Hey mate, look, my name's John, I think we've all had to much to drink, just take it easy, you've had too much to drink..."  I was hitting him with all that Small Club stuff Rafa come out with, but I was being witty and funny with it, to the point where I was taking the piss out of myself as well so his abuse wasn't registering, I was getting a laugh anyway and not letting him see that his insults were bothering me, plus I had my brother laughing along at all my jokes so the impact was double.  T'was brilliant.

The thing is, there were other Evertonians with me who knew I was taking the piss, who wouldn't dream of reacting to my bait and that Nick was being a twat.

Anyway... my brother leaned over to me and and goes "Why're you telling him your name's John?  You've only just met him tonight?"

I went "Yer.  I don't know him.  He works with them."

He goes "I thought he was your mate.  I would have squeezed my hands around his throat hours ago if I knew you didn't know him...!"

He wasn't fucking joking neither  :D  :D

He's kept us going this week you know.  Nick The Bitter!!!!

Tithead,

Why does your club sing songs about us EVERY game ?
We sing about you only when we are playing you.

Imagine our fans singing.....we all hate mancs or something when we are playing away at Fulham

Obsessed much  :nod
