To be perfectly honest, poor photoshop skills. I hadn't a signature here until Johnymac made that one for me -- he decided the design, which BTW didn't have the LFC badge on it initially, I requested it. Apparently that "rag" as you point out with respect, bothers more to you than to others.

Should Johny mac had done a banner with Alonso and LFC badge, that's the one I'd be using right now. Or if I had requested him one, I'd request a banner with Aldo with the red shirt. He did that one though, and I'm grateful enough to say thanks and to use it. That's all.

it's removal won't diminsh you love for them but it will at least give me and maybe some others the illusion that your are fully commited to LFC ?

I respect you, and that's why I don't want you living in an illusion nor to delude you. I have been very honest about which are the two loves in my heart from moment one, and I don't want to enter a discussion of who I love more, dad or mum.

I think that it is very easy to nitpick.

I also think that you're a decent fella. And believe me, if I noticed that people around here didn't like that "rag" in my banner, I'd remove it inmediatly. But I have never been told to do so until now, so I guess all the fuzz is about being a mod now. And that wasn't my decission.

While we're at it woof, let's kick out all the players who didn't support Liverpool when they were kids.

Does it matter that he has the badge of Sociedad in his sig? We have other mods who are Liverpool fans who clearly can't get the job done fully all the time.

The requirements to clean up spam and idiots is to be a good moderator period.

Its nothing really to do with the Sociedad badge is it being honest Woof?

FFS give Sabre a break mate...he's been asked to help and obliged..Wheres the problem?
Regardless anyone elses opinion or grievance of not being asked before Sabre...its just the way things are!
Personally i think he'll be a decent mod as he is level headed and obviously intelligent enough to see all sides of situations.As for Peewee a good choice as well,hes online often and at hours when other Mods are busy or in bed!

I think this is what the forum needed lately after some of the idiots coming on causing havoc!
2 decent members have been given the right to suspend accounts until other mods are available to take the required action...its a good idea..Wheres the problem?

Dom was a far more valued member of this forum than you will ever be, he was never bitter , in fact his humour was something you would never appreciate , he may have been a blue but unlike you he could at least laugh at himself

My gripe with Sabre's sig is that I don't see it as fitting for a moderator on a Liverpool FC forum .

Sabre, a fan of Real Sociedad, a club that has some connections with us [Toshack,Alonso,Gonzalez,Westerveld,etc...]. They're also like our feeder club, which is why we have first option on Xabi Prieto.

Do you understand what I'm getting at?

The UN joke doesn't bother me, so I don't have a problem with ''laughing at myself''.

Point taken. I can imagine of 12 different banners that are LFC related only, so I'll make one, but it will take me a couple of days, I'm not a master of photo editing.

If that was the problem, it's sorted out.

I don't feel that Sabre should have to remove his Real Sociedad badge from his signature to be honest woof. My love for LFC is as big as anyones and I am a loyal supporter of the club home and away and having Sabre as a mod in no way devalues my club or this forum. Real Sociedad is Sabre's first club, we are his adopted club. If I was a member of a Sociedad forum and someone suggested I would have to remove my Liverpool sig, I would refuse and I think Sabre should be entitled to keep it. His Liverpool knowledge or love for the club should not come into the decision to be a moderator. The Moderators role on here is to take a step back, be objective.

I am fully supportive of the decision to make Sabre a mod. On this forum we are extremely fortunate that we have such a good core base of members (or the clique :wwww

).

Dawson, You, Leon, Dalglish, metalhead, wooly, S@int, Bad Bob, Ciggy would all of made a great mod, but the positions arent available.

Sabre and Peewee will do a great job I think.

I never questioned who you support or who your family supports, I did ask what the f#ck Sabre's sig has to do with him being qualfied as a mod? If he was a Chelsea,Man Utd or a Everton fan I would understand completely though due to the obvious reasons.

But seeing as he was born in Sebastian and raised to support Sociedad, a club which we don't particularly hate for any reason, I fail to see what the problem is.
