I just wondered how many of you are aware of Young Skywalker (Adam Hammill) who is currently on loan at Dunfermline Athletic in Scotland?

This guy is immense! Our club is 9 points adrift at the bottom of the league and Adam has the place buzzing like we were 9 points clear at the top!

An amazing talent, but not liverpool quality so if you don't mind; we would like to keep him  :p

Here's a link to his goal against Celtic on sat.

Great goal!  He was supposed to be the next one from our youth team to break into the first team and this video is good evidence to suggest that he will feature in a Red shirt in the near future.

Thanks for the link, and thanks for taking the time to drop by with your input, we always welcome other fans :)

It's me who should be thanking you! :)

Dunfermline are a small club and in my 20-odd years as a fan I haven't seen such a talent in a black and white shirt.

The closest was Istvan Kozma (remeber him!!!!!?) who had Skywalker's talent but was the laziest :censored: you ever saw play football.....

lol, if you look it took a deflection off the defender.

Boruc is a decent keeper unfortunately   :sniffle

As for the Jock keeper thing; surely that was put to bed by Andy Goram? Craig Gordon is a class act as well. He will be in the Premiership next season I hope 'cos Hearts are messing him around because their chairman is a Lithuanian lunatic!  :D  :grinning:

yeah, no probs mate, just a light-hearted jibe.

i mean, us english can hardly talk after robinson's air-shot!  not to mention reina's antics against those blue fools across the park.

you right about boruc, he's made some decent saves.

yeah, wtf's goin on with hearts.  their fans must be well vexed with the way things have panned out.

Yea mate, I knew it was a bit of fun, just wanted to slip in a wee jibe at Hearts lol!

Romanov actually tried to buy Dunfermline before he got Hearts but our board asked him to kindly do one! Glad they did, Hearts are much further up the league than we are atm but I wouldn't bet on them lasting much longer.

Nobody knows whats going on there since Vlad the Mad (Romanov) delisted them and turned them back to a private company. He moved all their debt to his own bank and the dominant theory up here just now is that he is after their assets   (stadium and training ground) for flats and to get them he is forcing them into admin by giving them a debt bigger than their assets can cover then once they have paid interest sufficient to cover the shortfall the stadium will be torn down and flats built at a tidy profit for Vlad.

Hammill has only scored that one goal so far, but he has set a few up and won a penalty recently.

As for belief, It's rife in Dunfermline now! We play our nearest rivals in the league on Saturday and we are all hoping for Adam to tear them apart!  we have been playing much better of late and the game on saturday will either spark the Great Escape or condemn us to relegation depending on the result.

PS- Your adventure in Istanbul cost me £1 btw, my mate bet me at 3-0 that Liverpool would win- but even as a tight Jock it was the easiest money I ever had to hand over!!!!
