I just copied and pasted one I found on Wikipedia.  They don't know where you live mate, just blag it.

Apparently, I live in Greenwich Village, New York. :buttrock

Great site - I love it when I discover a new, novel website. Can't believe I've not heard of this before.

The last one was google docs and calcs - very useful.

Jonny mate, here's a picture of Greenwich village:

THANk YOU JOHNYMAC!!!!

I needed this. I like music, but not that much to be considered a music fan. In the last years I always listened to the same old discs I like, good old Ramones, Weezer, The Doors, Led Zeppellin, The Cult, and some local Spanish rock groups that you can't know such as Barricade or RIP.

With this pandora thingy I wrote Weezer, and the second and third song that pandora suggested were songs of groups I didn't know like The Gamits, or Johny Panic, and are very much of the kind I like. Good idea to know new stuff for a lazy :censored: like me!

Thanks for this Jonny...I'm well bored of my music at the moment and I've just taken most of it off the hard drive to free up space.  This Pandora lark introduces me to new music and doesn't clog up the aging laptop! :buttrock

I'm listening to The Killers quite a bit too much at the minute and I typed in "All These Things That I've Done" as the search parameter cause that's my favourite by them at the minute (Read My Mind is another belter...) and it's throwing out all kinds of songs that have the following:

"It features electric rock instrumentation, a subtle use of vocal harmony, a vocal-centric aesthetic, major key tonality and many other similarities..."

I'm gonna try and get a station that plays mellow stuff similar to Coldplay "Green Eyes".

All hail the computer geeks that made this site!!! :bowdown

The Killers are :censored:.

Stone Roses, Oasis, The Smiths : all you'll ever need.  :;):

3 or 4 decent tunes on it yeah. The rest are just album fillers.

For an example of a complete album, see Def Maybe by Oasis, all tracks are 5 star.

And i jut typed stone roses into this pandora thing and was given a band (i had heard them before but not the music if yo know what i mean) called "James".

I was very impressed with James; from around the same time as the roses i think? worth a second listen/ 5 pound album purchase?

BTW, should we read anything into the fact that all your favourite bands are from Manchester?  ???

Hmm well no, the best band ever are The Smiths, and along with Oasis and The Stone Roses, there isnt a stronger threesome of bands from any place in the world. End Of.

Meh as I say to others, its music not football. All 3 were undoubtly inspired by The Beatles in some way, why be bitter about manc music? Leave that to them.

Just teasing, mate...those bands are sound, Mancs or not.  Listening to the Stone Roses at the moment, as a matter of fact.  Although I'll take the Beatles over any of them all day long and that goes double for Oasis, who get on my t!ts almost as much as the former poster of the same name.  :D

Whats wrong with Oasis? (the band  :D  )

Please give a cliche'd free answer, most people resort to petty arugment on reasoning a loathing of oasis.
