Is'nt Sky Sports news programmes like Goals on Sunday etc??

I dunno..hope it still is i love it and Sky News as well,we may loose it!

Legally Virgin are in a no win situation...my biggest fear is that because Richard Branson has so much money and generates so much tax he may get away with it!

Nah, Goals on Sunday is on Sky Sports 1,2 or 3 normally which as far as I'm aware you should still be getting. Sky Sports News is the channel that repeats the same sports stories over and over for 24 hours boring the tits off ya and has the smaller picture and all of the graphics around;

and where the fantastically sexy Georgie Thompson and Di Stewart are normally found :love:

Any one in Northern Ireland having problems again today?? Im having problems siging into MSN. Have had to use Internet Explorer, which is running really slow.

I have done a broadbnd test and its unbelieveable.

feel quite bad about saying this after reading the above, but my internet is fine. I'm on the basic virgin broadband package and the speeds haven't changed at alll for me. - Ive not noticed anything different in the service. Maybe its due to the area (Cardiff) or something, but ive had no problems what-so-ever, and my bills haven't changed.

As for the tv package - we were going to get it, but now there's no sky1 etc we wont bother. - But thats not virgins fault - its f**king sky's...... Sky saw Virgin as a stronger competitior than ntl because of its brand name and brand image and have literally doubled the price of it channels - just because its virgin. Thats just not fair. - I dont blame virgin for telling sky where to go.

i was absoloutly gob smacked at losing SSN today, but red you say you have the basic package so did i but i phoned them today and asked how they gonna compensate me for the missing channels it was customer services i phoned btw, andway she told me that all they gonna put in the placew of losing the 5 sky channels was virgin central what a load of cack i thought, BUT LISTEN TO THIS i was well piseed by this but like i said all i have is the basic package no sports and no movie channels so i phoned up virgin media and asked if i could have all the sports channels at a deal because i had lost 5 sky channels and all you have to offer in its place was virgin media and the shows they put on there i have seen any way, the fella who said well mate there is no harm in askin is there to which i promptly said no it aint, for the full sky sports package excluding SSN is £24 per month he offered me SS1 SS2 SS3 and SSxtra for wait for it £4.50 a month untill i say i dont want cable no more, well needless to say i bit his fúking hAND off lmao, i swear to god if any of you guys repeat what i said to tv upgrade not customer services and ask for some sort of deal im sure youll get a deal, may not be the same as mine but youll get one.

I new that would happen..all ya have to do is be polite on the phone and they work with ya rather than loose your custom....Im gonna phone them tomorrow and see what i can wangle out of Mr Branson!

I haven't had a lot of problems, my Internet and TV service went down a few days ago for about three hours, but that's about it.

We've now lost all of our Sky channels, but I can't say I blame Virgin, but they should realise we live in a capitalist society with little or no social backbone.

Well, I'll just have to watch football around my girlfriend's house as she has sky.

My internet was off for 5 days, last time we phoned them we went through 7 different people with them all saying "OH YOU NEED BLAH BLAH DEPARTMENT" and in the end the solution was for me to ring them when im connected again so they can knock it off my bill !!!
