You're right SS , watching the re-run (now without emotion) it was clear that we dealt fairly comfortably with everything they threw at us and we were in fact far more in control of the game (especially after we equalised) than their forlorn attacks would suggest .

I think they were stunned to be AT HOME and STRUGGLING in a euro cup tie and didn't know how to deal with it .PRIDE COMES BEFORE A FALL and like their fans they had become so f'ucking arrogant that they didn't know how to deal with a team that were FAR MORE EXPERIENCED in these situations .

Not disrespecting Barcelona , they have some great players and the 2nd leg is not a forgone conclusion BUT like Larsons mother , they're gonna take it up the a;rse in the 2nd leg . :laugh:

It was also a great result considering the refereeing was awful, but admittedly it was hard for him when everytime a Liverpool player breathed wrongly, someone from Barcelona would fall over. I loved it when Carragher totally upended Goofy near the end of the game, probably saying "if you're gonna fall over, let me make it a proper one!"

What do you expect coming onto an LFC forum full of passionate fans?

Look at it this way...if one of us was to join a Barca forum and show the lack of respect you have shown us we would have been banned long ago.

You are lucky to be still posting on here and should expect a bit of stick after some of the things you have said!

For the record, Larsson says it's obvious Ronaldinho is fatter than he used to, and that he thinks it is yet another Ronaldo / accomodated millionaire Brazilian case.

As for the Mundo Deportivo mate, you should know better. They do that shíte always, they make a story out of nothing. They say he's a cule just because his dad played in Barcelona after RS and Alonso has been there a couple of times. Come on. This is sad, because those dirty tactics of unsettling the oposition players was done by Madrid press often. It's sad to see they like that in Barcelona nowadays too

The problem with Barca is simple...no one (apart from their defenders) track back. Riise had AGES to get his goal...he was all on his own and not 1 midfielder had come back to defend.

Thats why they lost...they have players who don't WORK for the team.
