Sale? already! - Latest away kit alrewady half price!

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The Latest Away kit half price already! Now, Ok I'm moaning........................But c'mon I thought that these kits were guaranteed for 2 years? So how come they're being sold off already? Is it because sales have dropped, since only 2 months ago in the xmas rush it was easier to find a Trophy at Goodison that get your hands on a kit! Or is it because of new Sponsorship? ????
Don't get me wrong, it now means that both my kids can have a new kit now, but will it mean that it'll be outta date at the end of the current 2006/07 seasn when they were supposedly to be guaranteed until the end of 2007/08?
Meaning another new kit to shell out £50 on less than a full season with this? It seem as though this is the case (unless someone knows different)?
I'm all for new kits but why guarantee something and then not? If this is the case...............................

the only item covered under the 2 year agreement is the home kit....all other gear will be changed for the next season...its on the tags 2006-2007 whereas the home kit has 2006-2008
Look how Reebok changed all the away kits every year, as well as the training gear..... so no change there I am afraid

all clubs change their away shirt every year, though there is a need for three. is the green and white set to stay due to it being the 'european kit'?

Im sure one of them will become the 3rd kit.

Hi everyone by the way!!

no the 3rd kit is 2006-2007 so that should in theory go aswell....
twud be better if they alternated the changing of the kits every second year i.e. change the home shirt one year and the away kit the next year etc etc that way you would end up with a new kit every year but at least u would have that kit for 2 years each time, but not surprisingly the manufacturers will do their best to squeeze every penny out of the supporter and bring out as many kits as they can....

New away kit should be silver/grey.

Like the 1987-1991 kit.

Yeah away changes every season mate. Haven't really been a fan of the away kits for a while, this seasons isnt bad though and the home kit is my favourite for a while. Dont like the european kit one bit!

I've got the home and away shirts - the away kit has just got Alonso on the back, but the home kit, that's my pride and joy...

Look out for it against Barcelona - 203.

yeah, the collar is annoying on the home shirt-would be better if it had the same neckline as the chelsea shirt

i didnt like the collar on the home one at the start but i do now.

I recently got one of the JC red zipthru tops on sale from the website and the 70s white v neck, gold liver bird crest.... very nice stuff!!

Agree with the poster who said about grey away kit. That home and away from 90/91 was absolutely legendary!!!

i dunno bout that, If i bought an england jersey where i live id be killed lol!
I like the home shirt but the collar is muck and the away kit and the 3rd kit arent good value if they are only used for the bones of nine months...
