Watched the highlight reel of this lad from the youth cup game on .tv last night. He was only on for 30 mins or so so, they put together a little highlight reel and i know i'm jumping the gun but this kid looked pretty special. Some excellent touches, a couple of killer balls, he got stuck in, looked like real playmaker and i'd say he was 18 as opposed to 16. Bold prediction but i'd put money on him breaking into the first team squad in the next couple of years. Sometimes you can see immediately if a player could be special.

All of this sounds good to me. Nice bit of business by the sound of it, and we'll have to keep an eye on him.

Taken from the latest Academy match report from the 2-0 loss to Bolton on RAWK. Looks like i'm not the only one raving about this kid. Will play for the first team inside 12 months i reckon.

Man of the Match: Astrit Adjarevic - the one player who looked like he can un pick a defence at will. He has quality in that left leg that's for sure and when his fitness levels get up to out standard he could prove one for the future. As it was the lad clearly tired as the game went on but he still never shirked away from receiving the ball.
