Recently the past few weeks a worrying trend has started on the forum especially in the Liverpool General Discussion Forum. Many people are flouting the forum rules by:

1) Posting Multiple Topics about the same thing

2) Posting Articles or news stories and offering no opinion on them.

3) Blatant Pathetic one liners to get post count up.

I am not a mod or any other position of authority but please stop this madness. I enjoy this forum immensely but some of the recent posts are tripe in there. We normally have brilliant threads buzzing with readable posts but I find myself skipping entire pages because of this drivel.

Who am I to tell you what to do?

Me I am no-one but it clearly states it in the forum rules above.

Also the whole Roberts fiasco is dragging on and on. Roberts is a friend of mine - well as much as a internet buddie can be - but its winding me up reading the constant bitching in the introductions forums- what must the newbies think!?!?

I suggest Roberts should move on and accept the decision eitherway now, unjustly or not.

Please end this madness. End the madness.

Perhaps a minimum post length could be introduced. However, sometimes a short post is all that's needed, so not sure if that would work.

Agree with you on the Roberts issue RD. I'm not sure what happened with him, and do go on his forums, but it's been made clear he's not gonna be allowed back so he should leave it at that.

Have to say I've been thinking the same.........

I can't be bothered reading it on reds v blues either. I'm a bit sick of the situation.

Don't mention Roberts anymore guys. Just because he's gone doesn't mean he's not reading these boards.

Hello Paul!!

The only reason I can see why he keeps re-appearing is to defend himself from abuse. I've told him he doesn't have any need to defend himself on the boards any more as whenever I see his name mentioned, he'll be pleased to see "Edited by Jonnymac1979" underneath the post in future.

And that's the end of that hopefully!!
