Orite folks im trying to play Call of duty 2. But im getting some message saying error during intialization: Vidoe card or driver dosnt support dynamic textures.

Im thinking I need a new craphics card here. Is there anyone out there who knows anything about this type of thing please?

Also ive been trying to find out what card I have got in my system at the moment but cant seem to find out anywhere on me comp. Im a dozy bugger if anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

Call of Duty 2 can be either played in Direct X 9 mode (modern graphics cards) or (if I remember correctly) Direct X 7 mode (older graphics cards).

Set the game to play in DX 7 mode in the settings menu and if it won't play, you're buggered, and will need to get a new graphics card.

To find out which card you have :- Right click on desktop/choose properties from the options that come up/choose settings from top of box/choose advanced/choose adaptor.

Min spec for call of duty 2 :- 1.4ghz processor/4gb disk space/64mb geforce4 or equivalent card /directx 9c

(MIN SPECS may be wrong as I am trying to read Russian and I have enough difficulty reading English lol)
