yeah we almost got burgled last year but luckily the missus heard them so they legged it as i was going dowstairs. When the police came round they said they may try again as they'd done loads of houses in the area (3 in my close) and although i shouldn't tackle them - if i did happen to come into contact (as i commented i'd put an iron bar upstairs) he said not to hit them (too much) around the head and when the police turn up say that i was in fear of my life!
The trouble is, if these scum do get caught they're usually released the same day and go out and do it again- the police agreed that the only thing that stops them is if they do get caught in the premises and get a good kicking as it makes them think twice about doing it again.

Just make sure that when you make the insurance claim that you say that the :censored: did get into the other room and make a tidy profit from it!!!

Thats terrible news Woolly.

I invested in an alarm a few years ago and its been well worth it. I've set it off a couple of times by accident and its absolutely defeaning to the point that it was so loud in side the house it felt that my ears were bleeding. Bog standard alarms are no good as nobody will bother going to a house nowadays that has an alarm going off as everybody just assumes the dozy owners have set them off themselves. Our alarm is expensive but worth it in my opinion because if it rings for more than a minute my missus' dad (who lives over the road) is automatically called and the security company will call us. If we don't answer that call the security company will ask for the cops to be sent over. However, the best thing about it is that its unnaturally and perversely loud inside the house and unless the scumbags are wearing ear muffs, they wouldn't be able to tolerate the noise for more than 2 or 3 minutes.

We are moving to a new house soon and we are going to have to get an even better system in, as my missus is a doctor and we are afraid that druggies might try and rob us for her bag.

hope you and mrs woolly are ok, woolls. there's virtually nothing worse than discovering some low down dirty c.unts have been in your home and helped themselves to your hard won belongings. i got completely cleaned out a few years ago when i lived on gambier terrace - fu.cking everything, stereo, 2 computers, tv, video, all my CDs, all my vinyl, sampler and keyboards, 2 sets of top speakers, money, personal objects etc etc etc. they had all the time in the world because i was out at my mates funeral at the time. still get fu.ckin mad when i think about them, the smackhead lowlifes.

Bad luck Wooly, thieving Sh*thouses and nothing more..... They couldn't give a f*ck about anybody, they're hard enough to catch these days without some Do-Gooder sticking up for them ("they had it bad as kids, they come from deprived backgrounds") we all had it bad in some way or another but we still know what's right and wrong.... That's why the Burglars round here get some stick when we catch them, hope these get what coming to them too....

smackheads are pretty thin on the ground round here tbh but i do know where one lives, might go round tomorrow and kick f*ck out of him on a "just in case" basis :D
