Well guess what Eddie no one really knows where you can get one. Why? Because no one has ever really thought about getting one.......Yes they are cool little guys but they belong in their own habitat not Eddie C's back garden...simple!Or your lounge for that matter!Im sure we all agree they are cute but FFS wise up and get that notion out of your head!
Dont get one even if you can cause its cruel OK..In fact if you get one i will never talk to you again!

Should'nt be a problem cause you are full of mad meerkats SH>ITE!

What's the matter Barry, get blown out tonight?  :rasp

As it happens, it was my girlfriend that wanted one & suggested the idea to me, I looked it up & saw they were kept as domestic pets in this country and thought why not?

I know I said I 'had no idea where to pick one up' and with hindsight that might not have been the best choice of words, I meant I was toying with the idea, and would like to find someone that sold them so I could get more info. I understand from what people have posted that I'd need to have more than one, which is one thing learned, exactly the reason I posted this topic.

This is i think maybe one of the maddest posts i have ever read!

I think you can't of read some of Salty Sock's post then Barry  :D

Eddie C no i have not been blown out,we live together so lone time is precious!

If my g/f asked me for a pet meerkat that would simply confirm that she was thicker than i first thought! To agree it then post it on a Liverpool site and actually ask where you can get one beggers belief!

Listen you cannot have a pet meerkat OK!Even if it was legal it would not be fair..Yes they are cute ok but if you want something to play with apart from your g/f get a cat or dog ...Better still get her pregnant have a baby and then maybe you wont have time to post much!

That explains why it looked so desolate for years.

As I've already said, perhaps my original post was a bit misleading, implying I was gonna buy one on a whim. I actually wanted to find out more about them before making a decision.

I'm not just planning on keeping them in a cage, far from it. I have an area in my garden roughly 10m by 6m where I would plan to build a living area. If this is big enough and an expert tells me they'll be happy living there, I will build it. You, Barry, are not an expert, so therefore I don't give two  fucks what you think. In fact, I really can't understand what's got your back up so much about this thread, when there are far more controversial ones running that you choose not to comment about.

Stop being so fucking petty, If I decide to get some meerkats it will be when I've established that it's not gonna be cruel, and it's got fuck all to do with you anyway.

at last! the triviality of fighting over worldwide political issues has been exposed. meerkats are the real issue - don't fuck about with lazy talk about meerkats.

people are talking fighting talk about meerkats, goddam it!!
