DIC for me.

They have showed they know how to be sucessful and I want Moores and Parry to stay on in some capacity. Also the idea of a ground share is a big no no.

This Gillett bloke wants us to share a ground with Everton and he wants Moores and Parry out, so its not an option in my eyes. The DIC deal would be the best for the club. What this Gillett boke is doing reminds me of what happened with Utd. Glazer just kept uping the bids until the share holders finally gave in and Utd ended up being slapped with a £800m mortgage to pay it all back to Glazer. I think and hope Moores will choose the best option for the club rather than his own pocket, because otherwise we could end up playing in a shared stadium with a massive hike in ticket prices and not much of a transfer kitty.

As far as I can see, the only way this can delay the DIC bid is if David Moores wants it to - ie, he wants to listen to that the yank has to say. This current process is all about selling David Moores shares in the 1st instance, then once someone reaches agreement for that any takeover then would get passed to the board and sharholders. Without Moores agreement, this deal is dead in the water and can in no way delay what we are currently going through with DIC.

This is the 1st time we will get to test if all along Moores has always been after what is best for the future of LFC. I've no doubt that is DIC and not Gillett. Let's hope Moores makes the same decision and refuses to re-open talks with Gillett. We also have to remember that LFC might be pushing this story in order to hurry DIC along with their decision.

Moores and Parry out , share a ground with Everton  . F'uck off back to your f'ucking igloo . You obviously haven't a clue about what's important to LFC and it's supporters , I'm all so thinking you don't care.

All this :censored: has done is cause a potentially damaging delay to DIC's welcomed purchase .

Man U had many different shareholders that didn't give a fook about the club whereas Moores is the only major shareholder and his word is the one that will count (if I understand all this business shite correctly).
I'm dead against this Gillette guy getting in as he has absolutely no understanding of what the fans want, you only have to look at the shared stadium issue to see that. I feel he is just in this to make a quick buck out of the new stadium whilst motgaging the club upto the eyeballs before doing a runner with the profits from the new ground.

Are we in for a close shave here???  :D

What about this ? (from the other thread)

Though Liverpool's chairman and majority shareholder, David Moores, has agreed terms with DIC, Gillett is entitled by company law to register a rival bid once the Dubai group have completed due diligence, the period that grants a business exclusive access to the club's books. The Premiership club are also bound by company law to allow the 68-year-old the same period of due diligence that they gave to DIC, which will delay any takeover for at least another month.

I am not trying to wind anyone up here, but why on earth does LFC need Rick Parry or David Moores at the club.
Remember it was Parry p***ing about which almost made Gerrard leave and David Moores IS only thinking about HIMSELF with all this S*** about a Life presidency which is exactly what Doug Ellis is to Villa now and is just a paper title and he is going to make a 70% profit either way out of OUR club.

I just think as long as we get our OWN stadium it shouldn't matter that the American want's to put his own people in charge, I mean let's face it what good has Rick Parry done for us with all his stupid negotiations with prospective buyers, in the past in fact he could still screw this DIC bid up anyway, just like Moxey at Wolves: In it for himself, sooner he is gone the better.

You obviously dont know too much about the situation mate if you think that David Moores is only in it for himself.  If thats the case i suggest you just dont comment.

dude most of his life he and his family have supported LFC, Moores has spent 16 years (i think) as majority owner and in that time remained behind the scenes as far as possible, while maintianing (behind the scenes) the values that LFC hold dear. I think this entitles him to his view and forces us to hold a positve outlook to his comments re the buyout.

Moore and Parry staying on in some capacity is a positive thing IMO, as is the fact that there would be no groundsahre under DIC. They really look like the real deal this lot and a typically greedy Amercian b@stard has to come in and jeapordise it all!? Well not jeapordise it, but delay it nevertheless. I will be glad when it's all done and dusted.
