and comparing cisse with crouch...both are very different type of player cisse is like a fox in the box wherelse crouch is more like a target man...if given the chance no doubt cisse will score more because he's job is only to do that score goals..in my opinion rafa should had given more time for cisse but those damned injuries din help...nowdays we pass the ball around to much and can't find the killer finish especially with the big clubs...and i think cisse could have made a difference there

Me not rating Cisse has nothing to do with Benitez not rating him. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that he's a poor footballer.

Cisse got plenty of time at the club. People moan about how he didn't play up front. No he didn't play because he was quite poor up front. When he did play he was average at best.

I can count on five fingers how many good games he really had in all the appearances that he made. Injuries have nothing to do with his ability.

I remember him frustrating the hell out of me before he broke his leg.

Why would Spurs swap for Cisse when they already have Defoe,Berbatov and Mido? All who are much useful than Djibril Bloody Cisse.

Anyone of us will win the lottery before that happens.

No manager with any semblence of a normal sense would trade in Lennon to get Cisse, not King for that matter, let alone Jol. I don't think he is that stupid anyway.

lennon and cisse have the same qualities??? mate, lennon is a pure winger and will bring great width and pace to our team!!! cisse has great pace too and a good shot, but he won't add much to our team now...thats why rafa bought bellamy! he has much better skill than cisse, plus he'd die for liverpool! lennon and cisse are totally different players, one will help pur team, one won't, simple as that! saying all this, DIC will have to make some hard cash available before we could even dream of lennon!

You constantly slag off Crouch but rate Cisse, i know you are basing it on goals to minutes on the pitch, but look at the bigger picture.
Crouch is a far better footballer to the athlete.

I don't constantly slag off Crouch. He is a decent player, I just don't think he is good enough for Liverpool FC. I think Cisse is the better player, he scores more goals, has more pace, can actually put power behind his headers and is a good crosser of the ball.

are you sure about that!? haven't actually heard much worse than that lately! A.B got it spot on...cisse doesn't know how to use his pace! all he can do is knock it past a player and run for the ball :laugh:

what a mug! crouch needs to improve the headering of course though...
