Why does the time on this thread keep moving forward, bringing it higher up the list? There hasn't bee a post for two and a half hours (apart from this one, obviously).

(EDIT - Ignore me. Just realised it must be the poll)  :D

Why wish?

In six months time we will have a s.]h,it - load of money and the possibility of buying anyone we want (like Lennon) will be REAL unlike before.

Cisse and Lennon have about the same qualities. I know most of you don't like Cisse but he is a good player. Just look at him banging them in at Marseilles.

To my mind we would have to stump up cash + cisse for any of the above. Lennon is a player i admire a lot and out of all of them he would improve the squad the most; however King would be a very good siging.

Cisse+Pennant for Lennon... ???

I'd swap:

Cisse for Defoe
Pennant for Lennon
Dudek for Robinson
Warnock for Dawson
Paletta and some cash for King.
Gerry and the Pacemakers for Chas N Dave.

Well, maybe not that last one.

You constantly slag off Crouch but rate Cisse, i know you are basing it on goals to minutes on the pitch, but look at the bigger picture.
Crouch is a far better footballer to the athlete.

No way. Pace wise perhaps they have similar qualities. But I think Lennon is more capable at beating players and linking up passes. Where as Cisse would either run at a player and give the ball away or completley mis read a pass.

Even still if Jol was interested in Cisse i doubt he would have any sort of trade deal concerning Aaron Lennon. Then again I never thought he would sell Carrick.

Spurs didnt want to sell carrick but could not turn down a bid that high.  Spurs will never let Lennon or King go unless someone is ready to pay big money.  Cisse will go to Marseille as long as they agree to pay the fee Liverpool want.

1. Cisse is happy at Marseille and they should make the Champions League this season.

2. Marseille are being bought so the money will be there for Cisse.

3. Cisse owe's Marseille due to the fact they took an injured player on loan and showed faith in him.  They could of just waited to Jan but didnt.

4. Aint a serious reason but the Marseille fans are fanatics and if Cisse say's no to them he better be prepared for the backlash.  He got death threats last year as they thought he refused to go to the OM last January.  When it looked like Ribery was off they went to the training ground to show there disgust at him.  I think Houiller would love to get Cisse but no way can Cisse refuse to go to Marseille and sign for Lyon.

5.  It can be very easy to think of swap deals but in reality I cant see swap deals happening.  Selling Cisse to Marseille and getting Ribery part of the deal would be great but not going to happen.

There is no reason for Cisse to go to Spurs instead of Marseille. Spurs aint going to make the Champions League and they aint as big as Marseille either.

If Cisse would rather play for Marseille than Spurs then he is as stupid as his hairstyles would suggest.
Whether they make the champions league and spurs dont is irrelavent, our league p!sses all over theres and he would be playing for a better side and against better players every week.
I dont care either way to be honest, provided we get something back for him he can play for Vauxhall Motors for all i care.

So what if the league is better?  Spurs will never be in the Champions League.  Spurs do not play infront of 60,000 fans every home game.  if your gonna use the leage argument you might aswell say Juninho should leave Lyon and join West Ham.

Pretty silly don't you think.

it is 99% certain that Cisse will sign for Marseille so all this tottenham talk is a waste of time.  If OM qualify for the CL then Ribery and Nasri will stay.  new players will come in so why would Djib give that up.  the new owner has already said he wants to keep Cisse and Ribery.

Marseille are looking to build the team around Ribery and Cisse.
