there was a post in december saying that a new mod will be appointed in january, as yet there has been no norification of a new mod.

without wishing to be disrespectful to the current mods one is definitley needed.

jonnymac and st mick are still regulars on here but supersubs visits are getting rare.

i hope this is sorted out soon as there are too many times lately where the forum is left modless

i reiterate, this is not an attack on the current mods, i just think they need another one

As far as I can tell and know, this decission doesn't belong to the mods theirselves but to LFC, who doesn't connect as often as the mods. Not that I think it's a problem not having a new mod now, but I think some help would be handy.

this thread is not me saying make me a mod, thats not my choice. if others on here think i will be a good mod then of course i would consider it.

if however someone else is made mod then i would support them as i have supported the other mods, i just feel that a new mod is needed to cover differening times, i am not the only poster in a different time zone that could fit the bill so dont just look at me to fill the post, others are also deserving.

personally i think saint, he is on at the same times as me, he is level headed and i think he could also perform the task

I don't want it and would be cr@p anyway. I think you would make a good mod peewee and not only because you are on at night. Anyway you already have the uniform.

No offense to peewee or any of the others mentioned as possible mods, but the new mod must have certain qualities, IMO.
I suggest the new mod;
- must live in a different time-zone, to monitor the night shift
- Must be someone that has never entered into petty squables, never gotten on their high-horse, never been in slanging matches
- Level-headed and even poster
- Solid knowledge and respect to the forum and LFC
- Must have been part of this forum for at least a year (just so he/she understands the types of wind-ups, and history btw some posters)
- Would actually want the job
- be prepared to disagree with the majority opinion or support an unpopular decision

I guess there are plenty more qualities that you could list, but i reckon the ones listed already disqualify me and plenty other posters on here.

So once again i would like to mention LFC#1 name. I can't remember even one instance where he was involved in a slanging match. No one can deny he has the footballing knowledge or his support for LFC.
He lives in the souther hemisphere, so he can be on at night. I believe he has also met with a few of the regular posters here, so that'll help.

I am sure there are others that fit this criteria, but i can't think of any now.

My vote would be for Ciggy or Peewee. But as I am mere peasant to the mods that be, my vote is void.

* Also Supersub HAS been very active in here recently just behind the scenes, he has banned and moderated two members who were being totally out of order. He also replied to my "report a post" quickly and efficently. Since the Roberts debacle - Supersub has gone up in my estimation a lot and I am sorry for treating him like a bit of a DIC at the time. It was none of my business.
