1. Run a 5-3-2 like we tried (with success) earlier this season. Finnan and Riise as wing backs. This also solves the three midfielders problem, with Sissoko returning to play DMF with Gerrard and Alonso in front of him.

I'm thinking that there are two possibilities:
1. Run a 5-3-2 like we tried (with success) earlier this season. Finnan and Riise as wing backs. This also solves the three midfielders problem, with Sissoko returning to play DMF with Gerrard and Alonso in front of him.
2. Give Riise a shot at left wing. He hasn't been given many chances in this role, and I think he could impress (or at least won't make egregious mistakes like Gonzalez seemed to do EVERY FIVE SECONDS).
Your thoughts?

I think Palleta needs to work his balls off in the reserves for a while yet matey!
Theres only one sensible option if going with a 4-4-2
Riise at L/B and Aurellio at L/M!I think Aurellio deserves his chance.I think he can become a decent player in time!He needs games though bigtime. What a left foot he has on him as well...defencively though he seems a bit weak and may leave Riise with a busy day on his hands!
What can we do though?Injuries have forced our hand..we have to make the best out of what we have!
