One of the Arsenal goals was offside, one a handball.

But they still won 3-4.

We were waiting for a reaction from our team but the only reaction was made by the arsenal team why? Simply because all the people said after the first game that liverpool deserved to win so with a 6-3 i think that now they have done a big answer to all the people
I can’t have an explanation to these poor performances because these players have played well in many other games but now it’s time to hurt us it’s the time of sadness !
When i see LFC losing by 9 goals in 2 games i say that we are infair with Gerrard and this player should have a wonderful career and not this type of statistics and bad performence
Finally I would like to say to rafa “ it’s enough “
when we don't have what we love, we must love what we have!

4-3 imo is better than 6-3, but still a loss is a loss.

What a shocking result. Rafa must be fuming. We were played of the park by a bunch of kids. But in all honesty those Arsenal kids have played quite a bit of 1st team football whilst the most we have seen our kids is in pre season.

I think tonight illustrated more than anything that a handful of our players just arnt good enough. The summer and DICs money seems a long way of.

And the injuries didnt look too good either tonight. Were really :censored: on the left now.

No doubt we will have the usual burying head in the sand and harking back to glorys of yesteryear as Liverpool slump to defeat in one of the most shameful nights at Anfield in the clubs history.

If the now hapless Benitez is to turn this whole sorry season around then he better do it before we have a new hierarchy at Anfield because they will not be so generous as Moore and Parry I assure you.

I would think that any of the worlds top clubs would have canned Rafa after that tonight but the ever faithful Liverpool masses sing his team off the field. Its wonderful sentiment but ill deserved and I begin to wonder if our support is loyal to a point of fault.

For Liverpool to concede 9 goals in 3 days to the same team of home soil is an absolute disgrace. Benitez has put us out of the cup with his outrageous team selection and should walk or be shown the door at Anfield.

So can anyone explain whats the point in Rafa's rotation policy when we get thrash and dumped out of two cups at home conceding 9 goals in the two games.

OOOooooooooooooooohhhh better rotate and rest a few more players.

Rafa's a Prat i'm afraid.

I've allways been quick to defend Rafa, but today honestly what the :censored: was he thinking?!

I really think he should go at the end of the season or be sacked. I really dont see any progression happening and to let in 9 goals in 2 game on HOME :censored: SOIL is a :censored: disgrace.

As I said before, Rafa picked a similar team to Arsenal in terms of experiance. We had 3 regular players (Hyypia, Gerrard and Bellamy) and Arsenal had Fabregas, Toure and Baptista and both teams had a mix of youth players and 2nd string players. It was a freak result.

Why am I the only one defending Rafa?

If we can recover from getting thrashed 3-0 by Everscum, we can get over this.
