Dead Idiot! See what he done to folk?

I have.

But I'm a realist in political terms. All I'm interested in is the oil.

Oil is what it's all about. The other reasons don't convince.

A) "The People Were Suffering"

So were the East Timorese. But the West still supported Indonesia who committed many atrocities on that part of the island.

B) "He May Have Had Weapons".

Iran and North Korea definately have weapons. What makes the West think that they are any less dangerous than Saddam Hussein?

C) "He Didn't Abide By The UN Resolutions"

Since when did anyone take the UN seriously?

D) "Al-Qaeda Were Being Supported In Iraq"

They are all over the place. Heck, the September 11th hijackers were training in Florida. Should they bomb Florida too? Al-Qaeda could have cells in Leicester for we all know. Besides, how does having a lawless Iraq make it any less difficult for terrorists to operate?

It comes down to a cost benefit analysis.

1) Is it cheaper to develop alternative fuels for vehicles to replace petroleum, or 2) is it more economical to overthrow non-cooperative regimes and/or support regimes in the world that will give us access to vast oil fields?

I would hope that the answer to Question 1 is "yes" because if the answer to question 2 is "yes" then we'll be bogged down in conflict until the oil finally runs out.

i think that was actually the nicest way to kill him, they show have left him out i the middle of london or new york and let him be stoned to death or something, thts wat i would have loved to c,or lock him in a cell with rapist and paedophiles and leave him naked with them, :grinning:

And what was the point in putting a scarf on him, so he didnt get rope burns?
I think the last thing he would be worries about was getting rope burns, when he was about to get hung
