I'll say it again... until we improve the quality of our players... which at the moment is nowhere near as good as the likes of ManUtd, Chelsea and even in most positions Arsenal.. i dont think we'll be seen as genuine title contenders !

Our forwards seem to have let the team down in quite a few games this season so far... i think if we had a good finisher... an owen-like player in our forward line playing alongside either Kuyt or Bellamy, we would have scored many more goals and would have won atleast a couple more games !

Villa has been an exceptional player in spain the last couple of seasons... dont know if he'll make it in England though..would still love it if we sign him !

united s forwards aren't scoring that many they seem to get them from all over ,would you swap saha for kuyt not me

it is always easy to say buy villa etc etc because they are scoring in there leagues, but all signings from over seas need settling time

and players like yakubu and bent aren't good enough for lfc as pennat is showing that there is a big gulf in the pressure stakes,

we have to go young to get a bargin so get the scout off their and find mike owen mark 2

i know for a fact that many ppl arnd this forum dont like the way our forward line is loooking this season...and rightly so !
we have been for the most part of this season SHIITTYY in that department... our forwards cant score clear cut chances and BOOHOO...reality check 1: it aint all abt bad luck ... reality check 2: goalkeepers dont turn worldclass overnight !
its just the lack of quality that has been letting us down..
thats why liverpool score 29 goals while manutd score 47 !

aaand....yes i remember Drogba last year....what about him ?!
thing is...Drogba is a class player....he has skills and more quality than all 3 of our forwards... by far!

Ronaldo has quality and had a crappy couple of seasons at Madrid yet is still played whenever fit.... why ?!

There's this thing you dont seem to relate to called quality...ability...skills...game...whatever you wanna call it..

Thats why players like Kuyt and Crouch when brought to a club like Liverpool are expected to score alot of goals... if they dont, there is no reason for them to be out there in the first place... they lack quality and add to that the fact that they aint scoring... recipe for disaster !
