I don't get it

why is this section called "the Kop"

You really would not be expected to understand, being a blue nose.

This section of the forum is named after the most famous piece of football terracing in the history of football.

A place that many opposing teams beleived was able to suck the ball into the back of the net.

Names after a famous battle (Spion Kop) during the boer war where many scousers lost their lives.

It is somewhere with character, respect and a place that holds fond memories for everyone lucky enough to have stood upon it.

IT IS NOT JURASSIC PARK, your sorry excuse for a stadium.

IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR YOUR CHEAP TEAM, who chose to leave the ground in 1892 when inflation meant a rent rise.
