It is rumoured that our Captain may be about to become honoured (somewhat belatedly) for his efforts, through the award of an M.B.E. The news is expected to be announced tomorrow.

Gerrard is our captain and a handy footballer but many middle managers in business are good at their jobs as well.

These awards are fast becoming worthless and Stevie-boy getting one adds to its tinpot value.

Might not be popular to say, but its the truth.  :lookaround

He fully deserves it. Great player, great leader. Can't believe it's took this long for him to be recognised. I feel priviledged to watch this awesome bloke week in week out at anfield.
