well... besides his long range efforts....riise doesnt have much going for him ! his defensive game improved alot in recent years but is still some way short of what is expected at this level . Riise's a good player.
He's decent to good at everything excelling in stamina, shooting and movement off the ball. Also his energy and willingness to run is excellent.
He's not a great player, he's a decent one... but certainly isn't as bad as what the dickheads in this thread have made him out to be.
As for you thinking Lampards "top class" thats just laughable. Lampards a good player playing to his strengths in a team with alot of excellent players.

Anyone who says Riiise is goood enough for Liverpool have different expectations then me. If I want to see our left back hooof the ball up the field or more often than out into the satnds, then ill go to buckley hill to watch sunday league.
He is, and has been rubbish for along time. Rubbish is harsh cause he would probably walk into most mid table premiership teams. Hes been the weakest link for a long time. An as for them people who say hes got good energy levels,me lets go down the local cross country club and get them signed up.
Also if you dont think Lampard is class I think you must be watching a totally different player than me. Gerrards better of course but that goes without saying as hes ours.
Riise is no worse than Finnan.
Finnan isn't as quick as Riise or as strong or aggressive. He's also not as good at winning headers, not as athletic and not as positive as Riise.
While Finnan is consistent he's never going to do something in a match that will win you a game. Riise has done on many occassions.
As for Lampard being class You're watching a different player to everyone else who has a clue about the game.
