Hi Wonderful Newkit People,

I have not posted but I do log on to see how you all are. Phil is constantly on my mind and I cry at the strangest times and places I feel so lost without him but it still feels like he is still here and sitting here I half expect him to shout me wanting a cuppa or to show me something funny hes found on the internet. The kids keep me going and we only have happy memories of a very special man and even now he can still make us laugh.
People say things happen for a reason but I am struggling to understand the reason for Phil's suffering and too short a life.   My sister-in-law has been diagnosed with breast cancer the family didnt tell me for a while, she had her operation on Monday and seems to be recovering well but we await the results in the New Year just how much :censored: can one year throw at us and for what reason?

Thankyou for all your thoughts and prayers and I wish you all good health, peace and happiness.

I have only just read this very moving thread. I'm not a Liverpool fan nor did i know Phil, but from what i have read he was a very passionate football fan. Football has lost one of it's own.

My thoughts are with you and your family at this very difficult time. Keep Phil in your heart and i hope 2007 will bring you some happiness.

Karen, if you're reading, all the best and also pass my best wishes on to your family.  People on here have thought of Phil today.

In this little corner of the internet, he was one of us and he won't be forgotten.

I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone on here for keeping my brothers memory alive. Whenever I log on here, I am shocked by how much you all care. This christmas has been really hard, phil has been on my mind every minute of every day. Every christmas from as far back as I remember, Phil asked for a football and a liverpool kit, as long as he got these he was happy, only wish this year was the same.Once again thanks to you all, as whenever I get a 'Phil moment' this is the perfect place to take time out and read, how wonderful my big brother was and always will be.
                                             Thanks

Occassions like christmas are always the hardest, for all your family it's harder still because the loss of Phil is not even a few months old yet.

God bless at this time and hope that you all have a peaceful new year.

Just took a few quiet minutes looking at Phils photo and absorbing the enormity of his loss . Struggling for words here so I'll keep it simple . Walk on mate , where ever you are , and rest assured that Karen and family have many friends here , they also will never walk alone.
