This is sad news indeed.  I followed Phil's news with hope and sympathy.  My condolences to his family (especially Karen) and friends (which of course includes many posters here).

With sympathy and fond remembrance.

My thoughts and prayers to Karen and the family.

For so many christmas is a joyous time but for those who have lost loved ones it can be very difficult. I'm sure Karen will do her best for the sake of the children and I wish her and the family peace at Christmas.

They will have a great Xmas and remember their dad......Sad as it is we are a resiliant bunch..people are!

Phil will never be forgotten on here...or in their hearts!

His death will not stop them smiling and having fun.....he would not have wanted sadness....I remember him with a cackle...was a great,funny guy!
