ok guys it's simple.

what is your 1 highlight and 1 low point of the domestic year? by all accounts it's been a decent year. our highest ever points total in the premiership and a dramatic fa cup win.

personally, i'd say the highlight for me was the fa cup win over the mancs, just because it was against those ba$tards.

the low point would have to be the 3-0 defeat to the bluesh#te. it was bad enough getting beat. but considering how distinctly average they are, it was embarassing.

High- Winning the FA cup

Low- Getting knocked out of the champions league, and failing to defend it

My highlight would have to be the FA Cup final, who said lightning doesn't strike twice?

The low point would be losing to Benfica, a team we really should've beaten.

Highpoint: 2 ive got...1) Gerrard losing his footing in the post-match interview at Kenilworth road.... 2) Him lashing in the equaliser, 3 minutes from time at the Millenium. Two moments of sheer brilliance that will stay with me forever. Twas indeed the Gerrard final..and the best one ever for me.

Lowpoint: The first third of this season...opportunities lost for my money. Things could have been far different heading into 2007, if our away form had got off on the right foot..

low point for me was actually the 0-0 against charlton last season. It just came at a point where i thought we needed a win very badly. We were having too many 0-0 games atthe time and we really should have seen off Charlton, i think we had like 20 shots off target that game

High point? FA cup final. Going home on a train surrounded by west ham fans, one of which pointed to me and my mate, said we were going to die, then collpasong on the train. Thats why i hate west ham fans no matter what others say but lovwed the day. (went into my local after the mtahc around midnight, they played you'll never walk alone as me and my mate entered.) Low point of that day was meeting taff

My high was Gerrards second goal against West Ham, I had given up and was on my way to the kitchen to make a drink, glanced back at the TV just in time to see the ball hit the net.

My low was Ferdinands last minute goal and Cisse's miss against the Mancs last season(It eventually cost us second spot) Momo's injury against Benfica but for his amazing recovery would have been my lowest point.

My Highs

First and foremost the F.A Cup Final derserves a honourable mention because of how special is was. I was fortunate enough to be a spectator in what was a hell of a match and a classic Liverpool fightback, it wasn't on par with Istanbul but it was very close. I had a laugh all the way down to Cardiff, the game was immense. My special memory of that final is looking down on my best mate, sitting in his seat, when eveyone was standing up, with his head in his hands. Pulling him to his feet, and turning to see Gerrard lining up "that" goal 30 yards out. We were right behind it, if the net weren't there it definetly would of hit me head on. The feeling of pure ectasy as 30'000 reds erupted inside that ground was amazing. The "You'll Never Walk Alone" and "Scousers Rocking All Over the World" ringing out will live with me forever and was a day out that Reds fans are lucky to be accustomed to.

However my personal highlight was seeing Robbie back in the red of Liverpool. I am 21 now so I grew up in the Fowler era and he was and still is my ultimate hero. When I was running round Birkenhead Park I was always Robbie Fowler. He loved Liverpool and we loved him. He was absolutely fantastic for us and it was a really sad day for Liverpool and football as a whole when he left. When he came back, I was buzzing, he may not be the Robbie of old but he will never lose his cult status ever. And he derserves it. That was my highlight of 2006.

My Lows

The major low point looking back was the loss to Everton. I know they are nowhere near our level and it really hurt to lose the way we did and it was all down to our mistakes. They didn't do anything brilliant, they were average and beat us 3 - 0. Also looking back that game summed up the start of our season. Too many mistakes by players costing us points. Having loads of shots but failing to score. The whole start of the season was a low point and had the doubters creeping back in again. We're not out of the water yet, but were doing a lot better.

Onwards and Upwards.

Roll on 2007 and another trip to Cardiff, and wembley and hopefully .... Athens?

good point.

i still remember the day he came back. it was almost surreal. i don't think robbie himself could quite believe it to be honest.

he's still got a great deal to offer. not as much as he used to but he's still far and away the best finisher at the club. infact he's probably the best finisher i've ever seen in my lifetime.
