why liverpool is not in the fight for the premier in the last years ? it's not to create polemic, is only curiosity, i don't understand how a team like chelsea can dominate this.

money. Chelsea have dominated the league in the last two years because of the amount of money they have. They have the money to buy the best players in the world but Liverpool do not. We have to make do with what we have and buy carefully. For example, Chelsea sign Shevchenko for 30 million pounds, we sign Bellamy for 6 million pounds. But Bellamy has done better and scored more goals than Shevchenko in the league.

Chelsea also seem to get strange decisions like penalties where there should not be. They hardly get penalties given against them. Players like Drogba and Robben dive to get Chelsea free kicks and penalties.

The problem with Liverpool is that Gerard Houllier wasted so much money on bad players like Diouf, Diao and Cheyrou. It is very hard for us to sell players like this and even though we sold Diouf and Cheyrou, we did not get get alot of money back for them so we don't have the money to buy better players. Rafa has done very well with the players he has had to build a good team out of and he is finally getting a team that belongs to him and not Houllier.

We have become a much better team under Rafa Benitez and got the most points we ever have done in recent seasons. That amount of points would have been enough to win the league maybe 5 years ago. But other teams have improved aswell.

Liverpool seem to lose points against bad teams that we should win against. We are one of the best teams in the league if not the best at home but away we lose points like we have done this season.

Hopefully next season we will win.

Chelsea as much as i hate them are a good side. Im sure you know this after your games against them. Youve played them six times in three years and they have all been good contests.

They win the title because they get results and have at least two quality players in each position so if they get injuries it doesnt affect them too much.

Spoke too soon about pompey i guess.

I think alot of people will underestimate Liverpool. We are a much better team than we are made out to be.

But we are an even better team when we are the underdogs, like we were against Juventus, Leverkisen and Chelsea in 2005.

We know Barcelona are a good team but we have to be positive and believe that we can win because if you don't believe then there is no chance of it happening.

The preassure is on Barca. We have nothing to lose. Plus remember Rafa has a good record against you when he was at Valencia.

You are a good team but you are not invinsible. You were lucky not to lose in your own back yard to Chelsea.
